Estranho postar a indicação hoje, mas acontece que devido a eu ter começado as aulas de legislação pra tirar a carteira, e  a internet ter entrado em manutenção de tarde, não tive tempo pra fazer uma postagem mais elaborada...mas as indicações sempre são boas e rendem bastantes visualizações:

#118 - KoRn

Hoje foi a terrível prova de física fundamental, incrivelmente consegui fazer alguma coisa, eu não tava sabendo de nada, mas acho que fiz 3 de 5 questões.
Mas, indo bem ou indo mal, as férias são daqui  a 2 dias, então relaxarei escrevendo este post sobre:

KoRn

Acredito que o mais famoso e sucedido exemplo de New Metal: KoRn
Com  suas guitarras(atualmente só um guitarrista, mas já teve dois) de 7 cordas, e o baixo com som extremamente grave (mais do que o normal) e metálico, muitas vezes até confundido com a bateria, KoRn foi a grande banda que iniciou o boom do New Metal.

Embora tenha havido outras bandas de New Metal antes deles, eles foram os que marcaram. KoRn , possui além do já comentado instrumental bem destacado, o vocal do grande Jonathan Davis.

Jonathan Davis consegue variar o vocal desde um leve e agudo semelhante a um gemido, até gritos quase guturais, sem contar as incríveis dicções de músicas como Freak On A Leash e Twist.

KoRn foi uma das primeiras bandas que eu ouvi, lembro bem, na época que eu não conhecia nada e vi os primeiros clips que achei legal: BYOB do System Of A Down, Just Like You do Three Days Grace , Sweet Sacrifice do Evanescence e é claro Coming Undone do KoRn.

KoRn é uma banda que gera discussões, por que muita gente diz que o estilo foge do que é Metal, e outros já acham que se enquadra perfeitamente, assim havendo gente que odeia atá morte e gente que ama.
O que acho idiota, é que muitos apenas se deixam levar pelo que ouviram falar de outros, ou apenas defendem uma opinião cegamente. KoRn é uma banda de qualidade, som bem inovador, criativo e bem tocado.

Criticam muito também os covers que KoRn fez de Led Zepellin e Metallica , pessoalmente eu gostei, não buscaram ficar iguais aos originais, é pra ficar diferente:
