Bem, descobri essa banda há menos de uma hora e já acho ela muito foda, tem influências de vários estilos, entre eles Folk Metal, Death Metal, Metalcore,  Power Metal, e por aí vai...eis a primeira música que ouvi:

Finalmente uma banda nova por aqui depois de tanto tempo...sempre digo isso, na verdade não é que eu tenha parado de postar bandas, é que a frequência diminuiu, afinal, sempre lembro de falar essa frase quando posto um banda por aqui...enfim....:

Killswitch Engage

Bem, fazia tempo que não conhecia uma banda que me empolgasse tanto e chamasse tanto minha atenção. Realmente muito boa. Já havia ouvido falar dela antes, mas nunca tinha parado para ouvir, não sei por quê.


Banda de Metalcore com uma leve diferença que é o seu vocal que...simplesmente é diferente, mas diferente bom, épico demais, com certas influências do Heavy e outros estilos. Nota-se isso na sua regravação de Holy Diver:

A banda de 1999, ainda da antiga remessa antiga de bandas de Metalcore, fez parte do processo de popularização do estilo, sem  perder suas raízes. A banda ao contrário de muitas do estilo, dá um certo destaque maior ao vocal melódico, afinal esse vocalista é foda, o que contrasta com as guitarras pesadas afinadas em Drop C  *o que me permite tocar suas músicas* Descobri hoje que eles tem uma música no Guitar Hero III, embora eu já conhecesse a música:

#460 - Protest The Hero

Faz tempo, né? Desde a última vez que postei uma banda..enfim, isso se deve ao fato de eu estar vendo muitos animes e também estar reupando todos os links quebrados *o que demora*. Sem mais delongas, falar de uma banda que viciei um bocado esses últimos tempos:

Outro nome apropriado pra banda seria "You Shall Not Play", afinal são uma banda de Mathcore...ou seja...é dificil pra caralho, com riffs extremamente técnicos e umas harmonias bizarras na música....dá raiva de tentar tocar, mas isso deixa a música mais apreciável ainda.

Só não é tão impossível assim, por que não é Mathcore puro, tem também influências de progressivo e Metalcore.

Conheci a banda através desse clipe de Sequoia Throne e, obviamente, a guitarra me chamou muito a atenção, aqueles arpejos aloprados durante a música toda, muito perfeito isso... MAS, a banda não é só guitarrista, nota-se também que os outros instrumentos também são bem desenvolvidos e o vocal tem seu destaque merecido.

Vale lembrar que o vocal é bem estranho, mas um estranho bom. O vocalista consegue alterar bastante sua voz, me lembra a capacidade do King Diamond interpretar várias vozes....enfim.........e a banda consegue fazer isso direitinho live *ao contrário de certos Dragonforces da vida*

#174 - Trivium

Galera, eu irei falar de uma banda que lançou um novo cd semana passada, sem mais delongas:


Trivium

Trivium é outra das bandas de Metalcore que surgiu antes do estilo ficar repetitivo, por isso merece grandes créditos.

Dá pra ver também que o som é mais pesado que o das bandas convencionais do Metalcore, pois também possui bastante influência do Thrash Metal.

Inicialmente a banda tinha uma puxada no gutural pro lado do Death Metal, mas com o tempo e aprimoramento da banda conseguiram deixar uma mistura de vocais limpos e gutural muito mais foda e que se encaixa perfeitamente nas suas músicas que por vezes possuem partes mais leves ou pesadas , criando uma variação bem interessante, o que mostra a habilidade da banda.

Devo deixar claro que essa guitarra é muito foda.


Semana passada foi lançado o CD In Waves, que continua com a grande qualidade da banda.

#113 - Unearth

Hoje recebi minha prova de algebra linear, melhorei, na ultima prova eu tinha tirado 1,9, dessa vez tirei 2,0. E o professor ainda deixou minha média 2,0. Parece nota extremamente baixa  pra quem não conhece o curso, mas na engenharia elétrica na UFC essas notas são comuns... eu fui bem, a maioria da sala zerou.
E hoje fiz minha prova de química prática (a aula é pratica, mas a prova é escrita, não entendo isso) e acho que consegui fazer alguma coisa, então estou feliz. Comemorar falando de uma banda um pouco mais pesada do que as últimas que tenho falado:

Unearth

Conheci essa banda de Metalcore com umas puxadas de Heavy Metal Americano (Não tem nada a ver com o conhecido Heavy Metal Inglês) e Death Metal Melódico, conheci pelo clipe de uma das músicas mais conhecidas dela (embora a banda não seja muito conhecida), e estou postando ouvindo as músicas do album dessa música:

Por muito tempo essa música foi meu despertador (atualmente é Self Steem do The Offspring).

A Banda Unearth tem aquele jeito que muitos odeiam e muitos amam, por que tem muita gente que não curte gutural e scream. Já que eu curto eu pessoalmente recomendo, por que o vocal do cara é muito foda, podem até existir vocalistas de gutural mais técnicos que ele, mas muitos me deixam entediado.

Trevor Phipps é foda cantando, é natural você ter vontade de se empolgar ouvindo as músicas.

A banda tem o orgulho de não ter dependido muito da sua gravadora, muitas turnês foram realizadas praticamente totalmente por conta da banda em si, onde eles iam atrás dos lugares pra tocar e tudo...

Quando os caras tem talento é foda, nem pela mídia se interessam.

Hoje estou cansado pra caralho, me matei pra fazer uma merda de relatório de química e agora estou aqui quase em decomposição postando pra vocês.Hoje falarei da minha banda de Metalcore prefedirda:

Bullet For My Valentine

Essa banda por muito tempo foi minha banda preferida, até eu me interessar mais por Bad Religion, atualmente é minha terceira banda preferida, perdendo só pra Bad Religion e Rise Against.

Foi uma das primeiras bandas da grande recente onda de bandas de Metalcore, foi uma onda repentina, mas concerteza as primeiras bandas doram as melhores. Hoje em dia o estilo está muito saturado e as bandas são praticamente uma cópia da outra.

Lembro que na época que conheci Bullet For My Valentine (BFMV) eu conheci através do clipe Tears Don't Fall, que tinha acabado de ser lançado, atualmente essa música atraiu muitos posers (infelizmente), minha música preferida da banda é Room 409.

Acho que provavelmente o maior potencial da banda seja o vocalista Matthew Tuck, que também toca guitarra, e nem sempre se prende só à base.

Com afinação em C(dó) as músicas ficam muito massa de tocar, uma pena que pra quem é liso e tem só uma guitarra(como eu) não compensa ficar trocando de afinação direto, pois não é bom pro instrumento.

#106 - Drowning Pool

Bom, hoje estou bem cansado, mas não é por isso que vou deixar de postar, muito pelo contrário, postando relaxo. Aqui em paz com meu violão jogado do meu lado na  minha cama, headphone no máximo ouvindo metal. Boa forma de relaxar. Hoja falarei da banda:

Drowning Pool

A história de como conheci Drowning Pool foi interessante, primeiro deixo claro que é mais uma banda a qual tem seu estilo meio indefinido que puxa um pouco do New Metal e Metalcore, mas é mais voltado pro lado mais pesado da coisa, sei lá é foda explicar, mas é muito massa.

Meu primeiro contato com Drowning Pool foi quando baixei uma música deles mas que veio rotulada errado, como se fosse uma música do System Of A Down, sempre achei bem estranha para o System, mas nunca fui atrás de saber de quem era a música. Foi então a dois anos, quando comecei a baixar mais músicas, que vi essa música e fui atrás do verdadeiro artista....aí baixei a discografia e achei foda pra caralho.

 

A citada música era Bodies, música que até hoje acho psicopata( e gosto disso):

Acho foda a distorção que eles usam em algumas músicas, bem aproveitada, não é só pra fazer os bendzinhos ou os palm mutes de sempre.

è uma banda que não digo que tenha os melhores integrantes, mas eles são bons pra caralho, e é música boa de se ouvir , tu se empolga ouvindo essas músicas, principalmente: Bodies, Full Circle, Shame e Tear Away.
